The theoretical background of Bitta Wöhliche 

 

For the past 20 years I have been working fulltime with dogs and have my own company known as ”Dyreoasen” (best translated as ”an oasis for animals”).

 

I have an educational background as dog trainer, clicker training instructor, behavioral therapist and dog groomer. My company offers dog training for family dogs, handler training for handlers at all levels, behavioral consultation, treatment with Bach Flower Remedies for animals and off course dog grooming.

 

Once a week I aim to teach dog owners to understand the language and behavior of their dogs in what I like to call my “language school for dogs”. This “school” is in session every week all year. Over the years I have also educated several dog trainers.

Australian shepherd since 2002

 

When I was looking for another training dog I fell in love with the many abilities of the Aussie.

Through the years my interest in the Aussie has only grown bigger.
In 2002 I bought my first Australian shepherd and since then several more has arrived at Kennel Leadings Angel’s – both of my own breeding and imports from other respected Kennels.

 

Since I made the decision to buy my first Aussie I have acquired a great knowledge of the breed.

I have used hour after hour on the internet to read more about the history of the breed, colour genetics, examining pedigrees and talking to breeders both in Denmark and abroad.

 

It has been a great pleasure of mine to be invited to evaluate a large number of Aussie litters both in Denmark and abroad.

I have also had several Aussies in boarding here and I have trained Aussies in everything from scent work, obedience, Rally-O, tricks training, herding, IPO work etc.

This has given me an extensive knowledge of the qualities and capabilities an Aussie comprises. In order to obtain even more knowledge of the breed

 

I went to USA in the spring of 2005 to experience the Nationals for Aussies. I repeated this trip in both 2006 and 2007.

All these trips were a week of dog shows, obedience test, herding test and agility contests all mixed up with long talks with gifted and experiences breeders.

 

Through the years I have taken more than 20 trips to the land of the Aussie to broaden my knowledge of the breed.

I have participated in several courses in anatomy, genetics, cranio sacral therapy, physiotherapy etc. both in Denmark and abroad.
